One suggestion I would make is, if possible, to contact somebody who may do rolling clinics/sessions locally; it's good to get constructive criticism on your technique. If not, go to a nearby lake or rent a pool for an hour or so, with some buddies, and just practice straight rolling. Have a friend T-rescue you if you miss it (so you're not having to swim and drain your boat, I know it sux!) and tell you what is lacking, but don't leave until you get one good, strong roll after another! If you can't find somebody to watch you roll and tell you what you need to change, then videotape yourself and analize it afterwards, this helps a bunch!

Hope this Helps!

That advice is right on the mark. Two things I'll ad.

First: Where are you located?
If you're anywhere near Washington, DC and the Potomac River, I would be happy to meet up with you sometime and help out.

Second: Some common issues with rolling:
If you take a clinic, the two things that you will hear the most of are "keep your head down" and "use your hips more". When I am working with someone who is having a little trouble with their roll, I tend to take it a step back and work on the hip snap. A very powerful hip snap goes a long way (even when technique is imperfect).
Here's a drill: Take one of the air bags out of your boat and fully inflate it. Let go of your paddle and get a tight grip on the airbag. Reach out perpendicular to your boat and roll your hips so the boat is upside down but your head is (barely) above the water. Now practice your hip snap. Start slowly, try to get a feel for your entire range of motion. When you are comfortable with the full range of motion, speed it up, add the snap (but remember kepp that head down). Practice until this feels comnfortable, and then sit up and let a little bit of air out of the bag. Lather, rinse, repeat, etc.... etc.....

GOOD LUCK
