i've been thinking about buying another boat, two actually.
but what i'd like to get is some info on the ezg. i've found that i miss
my ace. i could cartwheel, stall, weak blunts, throw an occassional donkey flip and generally carve-up a wave. it was fun. i ran everything with confidence in my ace. now i've a fun. it feels mushy in the stern when i'm on a wave, and i'm not feeling real confident in the fun. i don't plan on getting rid of it; i just think it's growing pains, so to speak. but i would like a boat like my ace again, and the ezg looks somewhat like my ace. i was just wondering if anyone could offer any advice.
thanks :Wall

Man, I think if you were donkey flipping in that boat then maybe you need to be on the LP Crew!! :) No seriously, the EZG is easy to throwdown and because of the balanced volume and narrow hull makes transitioning from end to end and edge to edge a snap. The hull has a defined planing surface with kick rockered ends so you will notice it is looser and hops into the air better than the Ace. This also makes it sit higher because of the increased wetted surface area so combined with the kick rocker and beveled chines this makes it very forgiving. Give it a try!!!

thanks for answering joe:

didn't know i wasn't suppose to be able to do that!

i hit a df a couple of times on the center chute wave; i wrote occasionally because i didn't always hit it, but it was close most of the time;
first time was an accident:
i was trying to blunt, after viewing ej's playboating vid, and to my surprise my face was in the water so i just kept going, (frankly, i didn't know what was happening, and i couldn't back deck roll in flat water until about a month ago) i rolled up at the top of the wave and had to paddle like heck to get back on, i got back on :D after that, i just repeated everything i did when i did the first one by accident; still can't blunt well though.

i only asked because it will be a while before i can demo one in pa, i really wanted to know what people thought of the boat; it just looks like a boat i would really enjoy.
thanks again for the response, i appreciate it.
