Lower Rail Road Surf Session on the New River Gorge...

Yesterday I went down to the New River outside of Fayetteville and park and played at Lower Rail Road. The level was 8 ft even on the Thumond gauge. Bryan and Tanya paddled also. The level was good and the spot was a fast wave hole that was more of a hole. At this level the left cartwheels were really fun and fast and the right blunts were really hard and I had a tendency to blunt on my head. We all thought the water was super cold. I forgot to bring my IR skull cap so my head was freezing. It was still another good day on the river. Now all I want is a WARM day on the river, so my head won't feel like this:confused:

I haven't paddled it yet, but i think it looks awesome. We were messing around with it at skook, whetung, stuart muntsey, james, me and a friend but i never tried it. My friend did manage to eddyline cartwheel the nose into a new shape when he was trying to cut out onto the wave:p It's fine though, and looks like it carves like a demon. check out these pictures - you should stick em up on your site

Stuart had the sickest flipturn ever - check out how high he is! Gotta be careful with those edges though, james had a hurt hip and decided he'd take it easy in the surf kayak, and had the sickest wathunk ever screamin down full speed and carving to the right but relaxed his edge by accident i guess, it looked painful.

thats sweet though, i think wavesport looks better this year than the last 5 years combined. are the bri(y)ans on wavesport now too?

oh...now that i posted it took me to all of them. i couldn't get to the rest before though.

anyways i dont have drews email but theyre funny shots eh... I dunno what happened to drew he was just there one day taking pictures and never heard from him before or after that day. I poached them from a friends site who poached them from him though so i doubt he'd care :P besides hes got his copywright right on em, so he's gettin extra exposure he should be happy!

soooooo sick! graham is a nutter but unfortunately he is paddling a silly tandem canoe racer with rob cartwright right now, but im sure they'll realise how ridiculous they look soon enough and snap out of it :rolleyes:

That is totally weird about not seeing all the posts and not seeing them before. I don't know what the problem might have been....... The reason I want to catch up with Drew W. is because I could help him sell his shots through the Local Paddler gallery, but I need his email. So that when someone is interested in a shot then he or she can click on the red font that says "HI-RES INTEREST" below the picture and it will default to his email. I do this with a bunch of paddlers already on the gallery.

Do you know anyone that may have his email?
