I traveling with a group of class III-IV paddlers acroess WV for 9 days. We are creating a list of possible runs, listing more then we can do but you never know where the rain is going to be. If anyone can add suggestions or comments to these that would be great.
Upper Big Sandy
Cheat Canyon
North Branch of the Potomac
Teter Creek??
Buckhannon --Tenmile to Sago
Cheat, Dry Fork, WV
Lower Senaca Creek
Tygart Valley -- Norton to Beaver Creek
Elk
Williams
Cranberry
Cherry
Middle Meadow
Gauley
NRG
*Lower Yough

A lot of those rivers/creeks that you listed need rain to run. At the moment that is a non-issue. My geuss is anytime between now and the end of May should be good for water. After that the little stuff starts to dry up. You still can't go wrong with the Cheat, Tygart, and New they always have something going on.

hope you have the water ! what are the date of the trip? the NB of Pot is a very good run. i have ran that one alot. the cheat is another good one to hit. watch out if it is over 5 ft. if the cheat is to high the dry fork is fun same good play spot on it. the big sandy is a good one too Wonder fall.what part of the tygart are you looking at? the middle fork is nice to do it is part of the tygart. the buckhannon ten mile to sago is a faimly swiming hole have not ran it . i have walk alot of the ran. it is short about 4 miles long well good luck bill
