Hey,
I learned how to doo front loops on ocean waves and have been trying to take them to the river without much luck. I'll get it to the stern and think I've got it. Yet, always, I flush. It never fails. Grrr, haha. I know your'e supposed to come in with good posture and paddle forward, but I was wondering if anybody had any advice beyond that.
Thanks :)

Do you pull the stern through and then flush? Or do you land on you stern and then flush?

I land on the stern and then flush while trying to bring it through.

if you are on a pretty even green wave, or a green wave with some pile, try focusing on staying flat when you land and getting ready to immediatly backstroke to accelrate down the face, if you are out on the corner of a larger wave/hole drop your leading edge when you are backwards (if you blunt left, this would be your right edge), this will bring you back into the nice sticky meat.

Rob, great advice on how to BLUNT! Just Kidding. He wants to know about looping. I would try to answer but don't know exactly how to explain it.

sweet, ok I'll try this again. mess around with your body position, try leaning back at the end. Most important: make sure you reach towards the sky before you throw your weight into the loop. Also, have you tried using a loop stroke.
good luck with those blunts
