the trip was cool and actually so many miles from home the "FAPS" was a illness to deal with i'd say Simon was the only one to drink his face off. Even after that we managed to park&play on the Tygart(galloway beach) after fridays escapades three of us just decided to go there to have our own fun. To say the least i was disappointed in more than a few of the people on the trip and what they had to say about us behind our backs but i guess what goes around comes around and from now on I don't respect any of them tripsy trixters or anyone else for that matter. Listen for a later date for the real trip when there is actually water where we want it to be.

Asian Mike - The level was about 2600, same as when you guys shot video last year. Come on back and lemme know when school's going to be in session.

2600 is about as good as it gets, though anything between 1800 and 3200 is terrific and worth the drive.

i think that there was tension among friends, because of the size of the group, when you need 5 shuttle vehicles to get people where you are going that can be a pain in the ass, and that is a sizeable group to be paddling anything tight (i remember a couple of bumps to my stern). Tight quarters in my small cabin sure didn't help to make things as comfortable as they could have been. The water was good. but i think he trip only gets a 5.5 from me. talk to you all later. peace.

so the water wasn't perfect...some of us were fun guys all weekend, some tried to run the show, some tried to steal the show...who the hell cares anyways...ya'll forgot the whole reason we all went down there....to run some damn water, drink some beer and be friends...can't say ANYONE in the group went 3 for 3...kudos to sparky for playing for a few hours at gway beach in the frickin cold on sunday and for shane (god bless his dentureless soul) for shooting video...for those of you that ran...the Middle and/or the Arden section...gracias, for those of ya'll who didn't gracias...i had fun...wish someone else would have

:confused: I don't get it guys. That trip turned out about exactly how I expected. Thats the best part of the HF scene is that we're all different and most of us are hard-headed. I think we had varied expectations about the trip and I'm sure no one who was banking on the trip coming out in a certain fashion was happy. I personally had a good time, although I regret the park and play decision on Sat. My appetite for the Tygart has certainly been wetted. I'd love to see the Middle Fork again with a bit more water. I'm sorry you didn't get any runs in Bill, I definitely think we need to get back up there. Thanks should go to Tyler as well for taking us all in at the cabin. As far as any personal animosity arising from this trip, that's up to you guys, I think it's pretty lame. Everyone seemed to act like they always do, it was just more time together. Everyone except Simon I guess, I doubt your average Fri. turns out like that, or at least I hope not. Anyways the waters coming up here now so let's move on and paddle out.

Good to see WV forum is at the top with over 80 post keep it up guyz the drama from our escapaids is actually paying off in a weird way. To all that were there it definitly was a life experience i will never forget.As you all can see the water is here with spring temps. and everything is going to be prime for big play so we should all move on from the drama and on to spring water for some big thrills and big spills hopefully not the spills, hope to see you all out there after work this week.

Sorry, I miss read it. Doesn"t matter anyways, we're all just joking around (I hope) anyways. You guys should definitely come down for the Potomac Fest this year. It is a multiple day festival with a bunch of different events/competitions and parties that usually attract some of the "big name pros" to come out and compete. It is in July sometime.
