:Wall here's the skinny for all you hf paddlers about to come down here to boat with me. there is a hell of a snow pack down here and some warm temps would most likely set it all off into a spring flush of high water. but, that just ain't in the cards. right now as of this morning when i checked the gages it looked like this.
tygart gorge- lower end, but runnin
arden- @ 5ftish about 1980cfs
middlefork-at the min as of now
shavers fork- too low (doesn't look good)
little kanahwa river- at the min, but climbing slowly
cheat canyon- real low
dry fork- too low
laurel fork- too low
teeter creek- too low
buckhannon river- too low
we will have shit to run, but it doesn't look like it is going to be balls to the wall high water this weekend. but who knows, it is supposed to rain hard here sat. and may bring us the flow we are looking for.
I am going to make calls later this evening to contact people going on the trip with specific directions to get to my cabin. - tyler
