Strainer on 5th Slide

Can't believe the Eagles lost...:-( That's a bitter pill to take...

Hey, yesterday Greg and I went to S-Turn and saw that there is a strainer poking out on the river left hand side of the 5th slide on the Fish Ladder. It's about a quarter of the way down. You can run the traditional slide line cleanly. HOWEVER, if you were to enter the slide from that lower eddy, the one right after that sweet boof at lower levels, you'd run smack into that strainer. It looked like a thin log so hopefully it'll be gone soon.

S Turn rocked yesterday. Perfect for carving and spinning and the occassional end!

Thanks for the heads up Dan especially since half the time I run the 5th I don't look at it (don't think I've ever seen a strainer in the 5th). I will keep my Eagles comments to myself......for now.
