EAGLES!!!! Just a friendly reminder the Iggles will be flying to victory today against the lowly Falcons and the Super Bowl is right around the corner!

Dan, Dan, Dan, How can you??? I hate to tell you but you guys are going to choke in the NFC championship game for the 4th year in a row (could be wrong about the number it's been so many years it's hard to keep track). I'm kind of torn on who to root for. In one way I want to root for the NFC East team. On the other hand I despise the Eagles (being a skins fan and going to college in PA). Either way, good luck (even though I will probably be rooting against you).

Nice...nice. Talk to you later. If you want to come over and bring the kids that is cool with me. The snow is still good for snow boarding. I am going to hit it this afternoon in the subaru and video out the sun roof. -Luke

Miguel, I'm suprised to hear that the Iggles fans you went to college with did not treat you with the utmost respect and courtesy. Where did you go to school again?

Gibbs has started to work his magic and you could feel things starting to change the last couple of Skin's games.

By the way, I like the boof at Sweet's Falls. Have you ever done a rock 360 off of it?

I went to Millersville University. I think that Gibbs will have us in the hunt for a wild card next year, but we need a big play reciever. And finally, the boof at sweets falls is sweet, last time I tried to 360 it I didn't give er enough and i just slid over backwards. Good luck in the big Game.

for the hair brained only, you could do the 'boof' on the right side of the drop. I tried it at 5 grand in a forplay once. lets just say it would have made quality video.

laverneus(???) Coles is a pretty awesome reciever, but i see what you mean mike, Rod Gardner had a bad year, and it was like only having one wideout running a rout sometimes. it looks like the skins will cut at least gardner or darnerien mcants, possibly both although i think both are worth holding on to. gibbs apparently doent like mcants because he dosent practice hard. in any case, taylor jacobs and james thrash are both hard workers, super fast, and talented. what we need is a dependable running game, and maybe a new tight end to complement chris cooley, or a big play reciever. whos up for free agency??? any big play wr's??
I still think the defensive line and the secondary need a big name. we dont have a pass rusher, unless you line lavar arrington up as one, and thats a waste of a great linebacker. once gibbs gets the people he wants, we will win games

Hate to disagree with you butwe had the #2 defense in the NFL and that is without Arrington. If we keep ahold of Smoot I think the defense is fine. How many passing plays to a reciever did we have over 30-40 yards this year? Not many. Coles is a good possession receiver but he lacks the big play threat that we need (could be because he's played hurt past couple of years). Iknow that Coles is good, but like I said we need a deep threat/big play receiver. I've heard rumors of Mussein Muhammed from Carolina.

I'm with my asian friend on this one. We have got to get the big play threat. With the #2 rated defense in the league (even w/o arrington) I would have to say "leave well enough alone". We need an offense. And to do that we need to open up the field. Can you imagine playing the skins, knowing before the game that there will be ABSOLUTELY NO big yardage plays. If there were at least a threat, we could change the off. up a little bit once and awhile and keep the opp. def. on their toes. Then, even if the bread and butter was all slow and steady four to seven yard plays, the opp. def. would have to at least be prepared to defend a 81 yard art monk style bomb.

Pretty sweet how this post started about the Eagles and has turned into a Redskins discussion. Sorry Dan

Mike, all I can say at this time is E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!!!!!

Yo Mike, on another note...Is anyone in the area a respectable ping pong player? I'm tired of thrashing Martin, Iceman and APJ. They are crappies and I'd been psyched to find a respectable opponent. You play at all?

I got some pong skills...

Hell yeah!! Although it has been quite a few years but I used to be good. Beer pong on the other hand, don't even think about it.

p.s. I am actually forced into rooting for the Eagles (just don't want to see N.E. win again). Bring on the commercials!

i certainly will not argue that we dont need a big play threat on offense. our offense is about as exiting as watching fungus grow in my booties. my concern is salary cap. we're i think the highest paid team in the league. and we got nothin to show for it. if fred smott gets his 14 million signing bonus, we might not be able to afford an offensive weapon.
yeah, who needs lavar... when your #2 in the league. if they play him in a better role than spurrier did i think we will have an '85 bears caliber defense.

mike, do you really want the freakin eagles, our hated division rival, to win the super bowl? i found myself rooting for the giants a couple years back against the ravens, but thats because the ravens are from baltimore. the eagles are a regional, and a divisional rival too. they must be humiliated

Beer Pong huh. Let's get it going. Perhaps we should have a combo super bowl party beer pong tourney. Then at least by the end of the came we'd be tanked enough not to really care who won....

Trust me, I am having a hard time thinking about rooting for the Eagles.

Hell yeah! beer pong tourney.

Mike - Wot say we play some pong and swill some beers one of these days in the near future? You know, a little LP tourney. I've got a pong table AND a fridge in my basement(for easy access).
I even bet I could get ol' Gareth to drag his carcass away from his wife and snivlin' child for a few hours to play. Wot do you think in the next couple of weekends or so?

Luke- you got some pong skillz?
