Hey -- great site!

I've been exclusively creeking for the past several years on IV-V predominantly. No playboating, but looking to get back into it for variety (and for paddling with my wife ;) ) You guys that have paddled the ZG -- is it something I could jump in and learn/relearn to playboat, or is it a more advanced design than that. In other words, is it an advanced/expert only style playboat, or is it forgiving enough for a surf/hole idiot like me to take some licks and improve? Hard question to answer, I know...

thanks for all the great pics on this site!

The ZG is a very advanced performance kayak making it a incredible wave surfing and hole surfing boat, but the ZG is also really easy to paddle. If you are looking into getting a new playboat I think this boat would be an easy boat for you to paddle and it is a boat that could really improve you playboating. This boat makes the river that much more fun. The ZG is a fast and stable haul with a smooth deck with no gimicks. -Luke
