hey sorry it took so long to get back to you, haven't been on in a while. well since its 4:15 on sunday i don't think it'll work this weekend but lets try and make a plan to do it next weekend. we'll talk during the week. most all video cameras that you can buy for under like 1000 comes with still pick capabilities, however it is not very good resolution, and I havent ever used them to be honest. how much money you looking to spend?

The new Panasonic GS-120 series starts at a good price, its small and is has 3ccd (3chip) so you will get really good color. For a little more money you can get the gs-200 or even 400, and they have like better zoom. Spend more money on acutal optical zoom, not digital zoom......It pays off a lot better

I'm not sure how much i really wanna spend yet. how much are the two that you mentioned? have you see the optio mx.. if you have what do you think of it? I also want it to be small for stuff like our snowyaking

those ones range if you look hard enough for like 400-850$ its about the size of a beer can.....a 12 oz. one, not a tall boy
