Earnies Canyon (N. Fork of the Snoqualmie) is always first on my list. Its super fun and close to my house. It also its a good representation to whats happening in the hills.

Robe Canyon is usually second due to its closeness to my house.

The Skykomish @ Gold Bar. The sky is the biggest close drainage to Seattle, and has a ton to offer all year long. However, the gauge is way downstream (especially from the creeks) and the gauge can be a day late.

The Cowlitz gauge, especially for the weekends. It is the main gauge for the whole area south of Ranier. The Clear Fork, Ohane, etc. all use this gauge.

The Green. The paradise hole is the best and closest park and play to seattle when its between 1200 and 1400. Its dam release, but they dump water when water is coming in so, it is a little bit of an indicator for other flows.

After that I start looking at the pennisula runs, the Nooksack drainage, and other stuff that I less familiar with.

American Whitewater's flow page for washington is really good, and has the color coding, so its easy to give a quick glance. In fact I think I'll go there now.

I use www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/state/WA

Its pretty comprehensive for Washington. The color coding makes it easy to give a quick glance.
