Excitement at Angler's today?!?

Anybody know why there were a whole bunch of fire department and ranger rescue people at Angler's today? When I was taking off, I saw two of the water rescue boats being towed in...

We saw that too...I think a hiker got hurt somewhere. I am not sure if it was that the hiker fell in the water or not but I guess if it wasn't water related then they wouldn't have had the boats out there. -Luke

One of the Rangers up at GF told Mike and I that a Hiker had been injured and was going to be helicoptered out. I've heard that they do hiker evacs with the boats as well. Expediates the process without the expense of the helicopter. Perhaps that is what the boats were headed up there for.
