On Monday, November 1, 2004, Summersville will begin drawing down to winter pool. Target for reaching pool will be November 23 in order to help with construction in the pool area. To do this, the project will need to release 1700 cfs above the inflow into the lake for the entire 22 days of drawdown. Based on no rain, the flows coming out of the dam on Monday are expected to be slightly higher that 3000 cfs.
On Monday, November 8, 2004, Summersville Hydropower will be testing some equipment. This test will result in increased flow up to around 6000 cfs for part of the day.
