Does any one use a gps to mark there park and play spots, so some one could start a park and play or river run data base, kind of like geo cache. I know finding the start of you next aventure or epic is half the fun. :Wall :D so if you have any grid cordinates west of denver it would be realy cool to get them i plan to hit the road next spring after my tour ala duty of iraq, there is also a rock climbing book its called rock and road i would like to do the same for kayacking info across the U.S.A.. :p Some suggestions would be nice on these things

Can't say I have ever thought of that. I will be hitting the road across the U.S. next march, so i might look into it! On a side note, Thanks for all your help as a Service man. I have a good friend heading over to Iraq as well. let us know if there is any good boating? haha, just playing.

Hope all is well

Heya wildherb,

First, let me extend a heartfelt thank you for your service and defense of our country and way of life. Although, I am not allways exactly aligned with our political decisions, I am absolutely 100% in SUPPORT of and thankful for our serviceman and the risks they take. With that said, be safe over there.

As to your question, I have been using a GPS to mark hikes, hiking trails, building maps, and a database of information for the last two years here in Montana. I have just started (this year) doing the same thing with my kayaking. I've made some progress and one of my fall/wintertime projects was to modify my exisiting database of hike info to fit with Kayaking infor (Access programming). I have not completely figured out what to include and what type of sorts would be the most beneficial, so I would be very interested in any input you might have. Colloborate?

Those are my thoughts for now. Would enjoy discussing further.

Peaceout Warrior,
Hawk

Using map Data off of the Delorme maps(have pirated copy$350.IF PAYED FOR) or something like streets and trips and give listing of gps info in aplhabetacal order of the what ever state you are traveling and a rating and listing of water flows, prime time and wear to access them this idea is still kicking in my head and not on the drawing board.THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT,WE ARE GREATLY THANKFULL FOR IT,BELIEVE IT OR NOT THE TELEVISON PAINTS A VERY NEGITIVE PICTURE HERE.PADDLE HARD AND LIVE WELL YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU CAPS LOCK MIGHT STICK.
