It was pretty cool to see a bald eagle on the potomac. I have only seen three bald eagles on the potomac in the last ten years. It was awesome that the bald eagle showed up last night during the clinic and everyone got to see it.
If you didn't get to see the bald eagle, make sure to keep and eye on the big dead trees that are on river right just above the Virginia chute. The eagles hang out on the dead trees that are halfway up the hill side on river right at dusk. I think it is one of their fishing spots. This sighting last night was one of two sightings I have had there.
