In celebration of the upcoming release of the Local Paddler on-line kayaking school, LP is giving away the goods, for free. It’s simple, all the vitals are below, and all you need to do is sign up on the forum.

WHO: We want you!
WHAT: LP PLAY BOATING CLINIC
WHEN:June 2 between 5:00 and 6:00 until dark.
WHERE: On the Potomac River----We’ll let you know exactly were to meet via the FORUM on Monday morning (May 31) the level on the river will determine the play spot. More than likely the meeting location will be at Old Angler's Inn lower parking lot.
HOW: Sign up on the forum, and then all you need to do is show up with all your gear ready to go on Wednesday evening.
WHY: Because we like you.

Wave Sport Zero Gravity Demo, AT Paddle Demo, and Extrasport PFD Demo during the clinic. We will have ZG 48s, ZG 54s, AT2s, AT4s, Extrasport Arrow Vests, and Extrasport Pro Creeker Vests to try out during the demo.

All you need to do now is reply to this message and let us know you are coming out. Thankyou.

Something came up after school and I wasn't able to make the play boating, I didn't have time to e-mail you before now. My apologies, Jonathon B

I was really glad so see some many people come out to the playboating clinic last night. The number of paddlers that came out was alot more than we expected. It was really good to go paddling with everyone... and this is something that we will try to do again in the future. I would like to do this again when we have a different playspot. Portage hole was at a very challenging(wave hole) level. Maybe next time the river level will work with us and we will get Maryland Chute. I want to thank everyone again for coming out. It was great to see everyone.

PS: I also want to thank Rob Terry, Dave George, Mike Mathwin, and Simon Robinson for being part of this and helping to make it happen. All of these guys live to paddle and I am stoked to be able to paddle with them so offen.

The clinic was top notch. It was refreshing to meet quality people willing to put a good deal of effort into helping others. I learned a lot and look forward to getting back to the river.

Thanks guys for the clinic last week! Starting applying your advices on the river. There are some improvements, but much more practice is needed. Please continue doing it in future.

I also would be interested in some river running/play sessions. What about Little Falls to start from?
